Investing.com - The S&P/ASX 200 added 17 points or 0.2% to 7,139.2 during Thursday’ morning trade, snapping three sessions of consecutive declines as all sectors advanced except Energy and Materials.
ASX 200 Futures were pointing 0.5% higher.
Among stocks, Consumer Staples lifted 1.1% as Woolworths Ltd (ASX:WOW) added 1%, Coles Group Ltd (ASX:COL) gained 1.7%, Metcash Ltd (ASX:MTS) added 1.5% and Endeavour Group Ltd (ASX:EDV) gained 1.6%.
Information Technology was also 1.1% higher as Novonix Ltd (ASX:NVX) lifted 1.6%, Altium Ltd (ASX:ALU) popped 2.6% and Computershare Ltd. (ASX:CPU) gained 2.1%.
Among reporting companies, Webjet Ltd (ASX:WEB) rallied 8% following its half-year result, lifting Qantas Airways Ltd (ASX:QAN) 1% and Flight Centre Ltd (ASX:FLT)1.1% higher respectively.
On the bond markets, Australia 10-Year yields were at 3.617%.
