Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Investment and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.32%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupoaval (CN:GAA), which rose 2.06% or 25.0 points to trade at 1240.0 at the close. Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (CN:GAA_p) added 2.04% or 25.0 points to end at 1250.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) was up 1.58% or 15.0 points to 965.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO), which lost 1.21% or 760.0 points to trade at 62200.0 in late trade. Etb (CN:ETB) unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to end at 616.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) shed 0.86% or 100.0 points to 11500.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 15 to 9 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was up 0.94% or 1.18 to $126.33 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 1.52% or 28.50 to hit $1848.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.24% or 2.96 to trade at $1246.14 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.92% to 3046.33, while BRL/COP rose 0.21% to 921.93.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.49% at 95.31.
