Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Services, Industrials and Public Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.62%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which rose 3.75% or 0.9 points to trade at 24.9 at the close. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) added 1.82% or 25.0 points to end at 1400.0 and Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA) was up 1.44% or 200.0 points to 14060.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG), which lost 0.85% or 180.0 points to trade at 21020.0 in late trade. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) declined 0.61% or 15.0 points to end at 2450.0 and Cemargos (CN:CCB) 0.00% or 0.0 points to 12160.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 20 to 4 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was down 2.32% or 2.98 to $125.62 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 1.83% or 36.50 to hit $1953.50 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.03% or 13.25 to trade at $1295.95 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.21% to 2893.83, while BRL/COP rose 0.42% to 883.27.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 96.50.
