Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Services, Industrials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.02%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p), which rose 1.28% or 140.0 points to trade at 11060.0 at the close. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) added 0.97% or 25.0 points to end at 2600.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was up 0.85% or 240.0 points to 28600.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which lost 1.63% or 0.4 points to trade at 24.1 in late trade. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) declined 1.10% or 15.0 points to end at 1350.0 and Etb (CN:ETB) shed 0.79% or 5.0 points to 630.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 14 to 11 and 8 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was down 0.81% or 1.08 to $132.02 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 2.14% or 39.50 to hit $1808.00 , while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.93% or 12.01 to trade at $1277.09 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.17% to 2871.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.53% to 918.31.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.77% at 98.89.
