Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Industrials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 1.09%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which rose 1.24% or 160.0 points to trade at 13060.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) added 0.79% or 70.0 points to end at 8970.0 and Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH) was up 0.78% or 200.0 points to 25700.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which lost 3.91% or 85.0 points to trade at 2090.0 in late trade. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) declined 3.02% or 800.0 points to end at 25700.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) shed 2.48% or 700.0 points to 27480.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 21 to 8 and 2 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was up 0.30% or 0.36 to $121.78 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 0.86% or 27.50 to hit $3216.00 , while the June Gold contract rose 2.33% or 29.50 to trade at $1295.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.83% to 2852.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.63% to 829.50.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.78% at 93.00.
