Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Services, Investment and Public Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 1.18%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA), which rose 3.95% or 270.0 points to trade at 7100.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) added 2.57% or 880.0 points to end at 35160.0 and Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) was up 2.05% or 360.0 points to 17960.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which fell 2.42% or 0.4 points to trade at 16.1 at the close. Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) declined 1.44% or 130.0 points to end at 8910.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was down 1.25% or 300.0 points to 23700.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 22 to 7 and 2 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.27% or 0.33 to $121.17 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 2.06% or 65.50 to hit $3117.50 , while the December Gold contract fell 1.06% or 12.00 to trade at $1114.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.95% to 3088.00, while BRL/COP rose 1.64% to 779.33.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.36% at 96.41.
