Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.51%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 6.73% or 470.0 points to trade at 7450.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) added 1.57% or 180.0 points to end at 11500.0 and Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) was up 1.52% or 900.0 points to 60000.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which fell 2.88% or 220.0 points to trade at 7410.0 at the close. Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) declined 1.82% or 440.0 points to end at 23680.0 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) was down 3.40% or 500.0 points to 14200.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 18 to 8 and 1 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.78% or 1.05 to $133.17 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.05% or 1.50 to hit $3105.00 , while the December Gold contract rose 0.25% or 3.00 to trade at $1182.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.34% to 2917.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.10% to 768.36.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.49% at 94.45.
