Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Real Estate, Oil & Gas and Biomed sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 rose 0.13%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Gazit Globe (TA:GZT), which rose 2.94% or 100 points to trade at 3500 at the close. Frutarom (TA:FRUT) added 2.80% or 560 points to end at 20550 and Paz Oil (TA:PZOL) was up 1.98% or 1120 points to 57790 in late trade.
Biggest losers included OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which lost 2.82% or 100 points to trade at 3450 in late trade. Bezeq (TA:BEZQ) declined 2.29% or 16.7 points to end at 713.3 and Leumi (TA:LUMI) shed 0.88% or 14 points to 1570.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 286 to 87 and 68 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $53.90 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.19% or 0.11 to hit $56.74 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.53% or 6.10 to trade at $1152.00 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.33% to 3.8525, while EUR/ILS fell 0.54% to 4.0342.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.28% at 102.37.
