Italian prosecutors are preparing possible charges against dozens of former employees of infrastructure group Atlantia after concluding an inquiry into a deadly motorway bridge collapse in 2018, a document filed by prosecutors on Thursday showed. board is expected to meet to discuss an offer filed by a consortium of investors led by CDP for the group's motorway unit Autostrade and may review a potential alternative proposal from Spanish infrastructure group ACS.

Enel should exit Open Fiber's shareholding in a matter of days, and it is expected to sell 40% of the broadband company to fund Macquarie and some 10% to state-lender CDP, which already holds 50% in Open Fiber, La Stampa reported. It added that CDP will likely hold a board meeting on Tuesday evening and that Open Fiber had pushed back by a week its vote with regards to Macquarie entering its shareholding in order to allow CDP to fine-tune the last details of the deal.
