Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Commercial Service And Supplies, Technology Hardware & Equipment and Food, Beverages & Tobacco sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.07%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA), which rose 2.00% or 5.40 points to trade at 275.00 at the close. Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) added 1.97% or 2.80 points to end at 144.70 and Lerøy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) was up 1.45% or 5.6 points to 392.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (OL:GJFS), which lost 4.58% or 6.1 points to trade at 127.2 in late trade. Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) declined 4.09% or 2.20 points to end at 51.65 and Schibsted ASA B (OL:SBSTB) shed 1.81% or 3.50 points to 190.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 90 to 84 and 28 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.91% or 0.47 to $52.17 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.62% or 0.34 to hit $55.23 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.13% or 14.20 to trade at $1267.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.23% to 9.1603, while USD/NOK rose 0.02% to 8.6280.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 100.82.
