Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Durables And Apparel, Commercial Service And Supplies and Media sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.37%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Storebrand ASA (OL:STB), which rose 2.35% or 1.25 points to trade at 54.24 at the close. Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) added 1.84% or 1.10 points to end at 60.85 and Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) was up 1.62% or 3.1 points to 194.6 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nordic Nanovector ASA (OL:NANOV), which lost 4.77% or 4.35 points to trade at 86.90 in late trade. BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) declined 4.35% or 1.19 points to end at 26.48 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) shed 1.55% or 3.5 points to 222.8.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 95 to 84 and 22 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.45% or 0.20 to $44.66 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.64% or 0.30 to hit $47.22 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.16% or 2.03 to trade at $1256.63 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.16% to 9.4659, while USD/NOK fell 0.59% to 8.4580.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 97.18.
