Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Basic Industry, Mining and Infrastructure sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite fell 0.34%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Bayu Buana Tbk (JK:BAYU), which rose 19.40% or 130 points to trade at 800 at the close. Voksel Electric Tbk (JK:VOKS) added 16.28% or 210 points to end at 1500 and Atlas Resources Tbk (JK:ARII) was up 14.94% or 52 points to 400 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (JK:BRMS), which lost 34.65% or 35 points to trade at 66 in late trade. Polaris Investama Tbk (JK:PLAS) declined 34.12% or 29 points to end at 56 and Bakrieland Development Tbk (JK:ELTY) shed 31.51% or 23 points to 50.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 204 to 115 and 109 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.08% or 0.58 to $54.36 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.03% or 0.58 to hit $56.76 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.71% or 8.75 to trade at $1230.35 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.17% to 13372.8, while AUD/IDR rose 0.23% to 10302.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.57% at 101.50.
