Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Mining, Property and Basic Industry sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index added 0.47%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Aneka Tambang Persero Tbk (JK:ANTM), which rose 20.78% or 64 points to trade at 372 at the close. Meanwhile, Tanah Laut Tbk (JK:INDX) added 19.20% or 24 points to end at 149 and Pembangunan Graha Lestari Tbk (JK:PGLI) was up 16.92% or 11 points to 76 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Metro Realty Tbk (JK:MTSM), which fell 10.00% or 21 points to trade at 189 at the close. Sidomulyo Selaras Tbk (JK:SDMU) declined 9.73% or 46 points to end at 427 and Jaya Agra Wattie Tbk (JK:JAWA) was down 9.66% or 17 points to 159.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 170 to 136 and 45 ended unchanged.
Shares in Metro Realty Tbk (JK:MTSM) fell to 3-years lows; down 10.00% or 21 to 189. Shares in Jaya Agra Wattie Tbk (JK:JAWA) fell to all time lows; falling 9.66% or 17 to 159.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.54% or 0.23 to $42.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.84% or 0.37 to hit $44.51 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.36% or 3.80 to trade at $1072.50 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.23% to 13758.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.39% to 9872.55.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.30% at 99.36.
