Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Chemicals, Utilities and Invest Companies & Other Finance sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.08%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Micro Data SA (CS:MIC), which rose 4.49% or 8.90 points to trade at 207.00 at the close. Cartier Saada (CS:CRS) added 4.12% or 0.91 points to end at 23.00 and Risma (CS:RIS) was up 2.36% or 2.65 points to 114.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ciments Du Maroc (CS:SCM), which lost 3.25% or 47 points to trade at 1400 in late trade. M2M Group (CS:M2M) declined 2.56% or 8.00 points to end at 305.00 and Eqdom (CS:EQDM) shed 2.45% or 27 points to 1073.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 24 to 20 and 7 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 4.31% or 2.06 to $45.76 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 4.02% or 2.04 to hit $48.75 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.40% or 17.47 to trade at $1231.03 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.31% to 10.8430, while USD/MAD fell 0.51% to 9.8806.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.60% at 98.66.
